Parivartan – The Change
Career Counselling, Project Abhay, and Workplace Dignity
Introduction
The year 2024–25 showcased Parivartan’s expansion into holistic adolescent development,
workplace dignity, and healthcare for underserved workers like truck drivers. With initiatives ranging from career
counselling for school students to wellness programs for truck drivers and POSH training for workplaces, the year
was a powerful reflection of Parivartan’s vision to integrate health, dignity, and empowerment across diverse sectors.
Detailed Initiatives
Career Counselling & Preventive Health Workshops – Ambala & Karnal
In collaboration with Chaitanya Career Consultants Pvt. Ltd., Parivartan implemented career counselling
and health workshops in government schools. Students were guided on future career pathways while also learning about
nutrition, hygiene, and emotional well-being. Teachers noted improved goal-setting and self-confidence among participants.

Project Abhay – Wellness for Truck Drivers
Between April 2024 and January 2025, Parivartan partnered with IIT Delhi and the Ministry of Road Transport
and Highways to deliver wellness interventions for truck drivers at Indore. Over 14,000 drivers were screened for health risks,
provided eye testing, counselling, and health insurance guidance. The initiative addressed a population that often lacks access
to healthcare despite their critical role in logistics.

Training for Tourist Police – Haryana
At Madhuban Police Academy, Parivartan conducted training for the newly formed Tourist Police wing.
Sessions covered crowd management, safety, first aid, stress management, and cultural sensitivity. Officers felt better
prepared to support Haryana’s growing tourism sector with professionalism and empathy.

POSH Training – Roseate Hotel
Parivartan conducted Prevention of Sexual Harassment (POSH) training for Roseate Hotel employees.
The training emphasized workplace dignity, gender sensitivity, legal provisions, and clear reporting mechanisms.
Participants highlighted how the sessions improved workplace trust and inclusivity.

Project Nidaan – CSR by Indraprastha Gas Limited
Workshops on eco-friendly menstrual management, breast cancer, and cervical cancer awareness were
conducted at the Haryana Police Academy, Madhuban. The sessions empowered women police with knowledge and sustainable
health practices while linking menstrual health to broader cancer awareness.

Project Swabhimaan – Seagull Pharma CSR
Project Swabhimaan focused on addressing menstrual hygiene and dysmenorrhea, ensuring that
women had access to both sustainable solutions and awareness. Collaborations with government departments and
health institutions ensured strong community outreach.

Closing Reflections
2024–25 showcased Parivartan’s multi-sectoral approach — from schools and workplaces
to highways and police academies. By integrating health, dignity, and empowerment, Parivartan created impact
for students, workers, women, and frontline officers alike. The year highlighted that when partnerships and
empathy come together, every community — whether in classrooms, roadsides, or workplaces — can thrive with dignity.
